A massive congratulations to all band students for their festival performances. Three of our bands competed locally at the Lethbridge and District Music and Speech Arts Festival, each receiving a mark of Superior - the highest level. Our grade 8's travelled to Edmonton to take part in the Alberta International Band Festival, a very challenging and high level competition where we scored an Excellent! rating.
Our little program here in Raymond is a major player in the band scene in the province of Alberta, and I thank the hard work of our students and the support of the school administration, staff, and most of all... the parents!
