Division Cross Country Races
The Westwind Division Jr. High cross-country races will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at Spring Glen Park for qualifying students. The park is located halfway between the towns of Hill Spring and Glenwood. Please park your cars outside the gates in the parking area. The bus for participating students will leave from the school at 8:00am and return mid-afternoon. Please send food and water with participants.
Start time is 9:30am; the schedule will be as follows:
• Walk through 9:30 am
• Grade 7 girls 9:45 am
• Grade 7 boys 10:05am
• Grade 8 girls 10:25 am
• Grade 8 boys 10:45 am
• Grade 9 girls 11:05 am
• Grade 9 boys 11:30 am
These are predicted start times. In the previous years the races have lasted 15 minutes. If races are ahead of schedule, they may start a race a little earlier.
There will be a water cooler full of drinking water for athletes to fill water bottles.
